Welcome

Did Kentucky GOP Senator Rand Paul really mean to say this? Asked on Fox Business this morning about sending absentee ballot applications in Georgia for the upcoming runoff election, Paul said:

“I’m very, very concerned that if you solicit votes from typically non-voters, that you will affect and change the outcome.” Sen. Rand Paul

One would think that’s the whole point of a democracy, to have as many people vote as possible. More non-voters going to the poll only strengthens the will of the people. But when that happens, Paul’s party won’t win. And he knows it. Because Paul’s “non-voters” (wink-wink) are mostly non-white.
