Rep. Doug Collins is getting slammed for his insensitive and inflammatory tweet about the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Instead of paying his respects to the Supreme Court justice, the Georgia Republican wrote:

RIP to the more than 30 million innocent babies that have been murdered during the decades that Ruth Bader Ginsburg defended pro-abortion laws. With @realDonaldTrump nominating a replacement that values human life, generations of unborn children have a chance to live.

That moment when you’re so “pro-life” you celebrate someone’s death.

Scott Dworkin, founder of the Democratic Coalition echoed those comments saying, “Doug Collins is celebrating the death of a Supreme Court Justice. Unforgivable. RBG deserves better than this garbage.”

Collins is running for Senate in November. The leading Democrat running against him took issue with both Collins response and the GOP Senator who currently holds the seat and is running for re-election, Kelly Loeffler.
