Romney, Murkowski Add To GOP Total In Favor Of Judge Jackson

And now there are three Republicans who will vote to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. On Monday, Alaska GOP Senator Lisa Murkowski and Utah Republican Mitt Romney said they will vote yes. Previously, GOP Senator Susan Collins of Maine also said she would vote for confirmation.

The full senate will vote on Judge Jackson later this week. The final vote now appears to be 53-47 to confirm. Earlier, the Senate Judiciary Committee deadlocked at 11-11 on confirmation, but the nomination will still go to the Senate floor.
