Roy Moore Begs For Money To Pay Legal Bills

Welcome

JACKSON, AL - NOVEMBER 14: Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Judge Roy Moore speaks during a campaign event at the Walker Springs Road Baptist Church on November 14, 2017 in Jackson, Alabama. The embattled candidate has been accused of sexual misconduct with underage girls when he was in his 30's.

When you think of worthy causes in the world today,  giving to Roy Moore is probably not at the top of the list. But Moore really wants your money.  He needs your money.

What a difference a few months makes. Late last year he was riding high thinking his next paycheck was going to come from the U.S. Senate. Now the former judge, who received Donald Trump’s endorsement, is so desperate for money that he begging supporters to help him pay legal bills. Moore is being sued by one of his accusers for defamation.

He wrote a Facebook post pleading his case. It reads in part:

“I now face another vicious attack from lawyers in Washington D. C. and San Francisco who have hired one of the biggest firms in Birmingham Alabama to bring another legal action against me and ensure that I never fight again.

However, I will trust God that he will allow truth to prevail against the unholy forces of evil behind their attack.

I have lawyers who want to help but they are not without cost and besides their fees, legal expenses could run over $100,000. I have had to establish a “legal defense fund, anything you give will be appreciated.”

The post also blames his legal woes on the “liberal media” along with “Gays, lesbians, and transgenders” and “those who believe in abortion, sodomy, and destruction.”

Here’s what one tweeter decided to give Roy Moore…
