Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo Subpoenaed

Congressional committees are wasting no time subpoenaing witnesses who they believe have information and/or documents relating to the impeachment inquiry. The House Intelligence Committee sent Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a letter this afternoon and issued this statement:

To date, Pompeo has refused to produce these documents, which were first requested more than two weeks ago. The Chairmen sent a follow-up letter warning @SecPompeo that they would consider compulsory measures if he continued to refuse to comply.

Pompeo isn’t required to appear in person but he’s being told to produce documents relevant to the investigation. Meanwhile, others in the State Department will be required to appear:
