Here’s the problem with any Donald Trump speech.  We have a year of hate, of divisiveness, of intolerance, of anger, of bigotry…we could go on… So when the President tries to act presidential, it just feels phony.  Does anyone believe these words?  Why would the American people buy it?  We have too much history, boatloads of tweets and lies, and many tweets that are lies.  Tonight came across like a badly written script performed by an actor stretching to be sincere in this reality show we call America.  We’d love to know your thoughts.  Here are some other reactions from bird-land:
