You sure can feel the love at the White House this year. It’s been awhile since we saw affection like this with the first family. Late Sunday, President Joe Biden wrote this message for the first lady.

The second gentleman also publicly wished the vice president a Happy Valentine’s Day.

This came a day after the second couple paid a surprise visit to the VA Center in Washington D.C. where they handed out Valentine’s Day to healthcare workers. The packages of cookies included the message:

“Have a sweet Valentine’s Day! We appreciate you. Kamala & Doug. We are so grateful for you.”

The Valentine’s Day love kicked off on Friday when the White House debuted “messages of healing, unity, hope and compassion.” It was a project headed up by Dr. Biden as “her Valentine to the country.” The decorations remained throughout the weekend.

The first lady was also spotted picking up Valentine’s Day treats at a bakery in the nation’s capital.

The Washingtonian reports: Biden purchased more than $100 worth of sweets during her 10-to-15 minute visit.
