Trump Attacks Steve Bannon: Says Former Advisor Has “Lost His Mind”

Welcome

MIDLAND CITY, AL - DECEMBER 11: Steve Bannon speaks before the arrival of Republican Senatorial candidate Roy Moore during a campaign event at Jordan's Activity Barn on December 11, 2017 in Midland City, Alabama. Mr. Moore is facing off against Democrat Doug Jones in tomorrow's special election for the U.S. Senate.

Steve Bannon is quoted in a book released today saying the Trump Tower meeting between the campaign and the Russians was “treasonous.”  Now Donald Trump has fired back.  In a statement released by the White House, Trump is said to be livid (is that a permanent state?) and Trump said that Bannon has “lost his mind.”  But wait,  there’s more.  According to the statement,  “Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my presidency.”  Really?  Your long-time advisor and confidante has nothing to do with your reign of terror?  Here’s the full statement from Politico.

Besides the treason reference, Bannon goes after Donald Trump, Jr.  in the book called Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House saying “They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV.”

Bannon has reportedly been on the outs with Trump since this piece from Vanity Fair where the Breitbart exec went after Trump’s family.

Another crazy day in Trumpworld.  Where will it end?
