It took him quite awhile to do so, but former President Trump tonight finally made a public statement coming out in favor of getting vaccinated. He said it during a phone interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News.

Trump of course, has been notably silent as President Biden’s vaccination program has rolled out. It wasn’t even made public until recently that he and Melania Trump were vaccinated in his final days in office. But some Trump defenders have now begun claiming Biden is getting credit for work on the vaccine plan that Trump did.

The former president also did a fair amount of lying during tonight’s interview, including bringing up the lie about election fraud. He also lied when the conversation turned to the situation at the border.
