Trump’s D.C. Hotel Raking It In Thanks To G.O.P.

Welcome

If you have a spare $100,000 and happen to be in Washington, D.C. tonight, swing by the Trump International Hotel where you and your money will be welcome.  Meet the president, have your photo taken with Donald Trump, enjoy some rubber chicken.  While many Trump properties are hurting financially, the D.C. hotel is doing well.

The fact that a sitting president can hold a fundraiser at a hotel he owns just shows how broken our political system has become.  And tonight’s soiree is not the first time the Republican National Committee has handed large amounts of cash to the Trump hotels.  In this election cycle alone, the Trump campaign has spent nearly a million dollars at Trump hotels and more than $110,000 at the D.C. property, according to the Wall Street Journal.
