11:45 UPDATE:  According to CNN, McEntee “was fired because he is currently under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes.”  So he’s dispatched to the Trump campaign?

9:30AM  — John McEntee has been loyal to Donald Trump since early in the Trump campaign, but now he joins the list of White House employees fired. McEntee was Trump’s personal assistant and former body man.

The Wall Street Journal reports, “Mr. McEntee was removed from the White House grounds on Monday afternoon without being allowed to collect his belongings, a White House official said. He left without his jacket, a second White House official said.”
