Banksy & Others Send Tributes To A New Kind Of Super Hero

The anonymous British artist Banksy has created a new work of art for the age of coronavirus. It’s called “Game Changer” and it’s now on display at Southampton General Hospital in England. The black and white picture (see above from CBS) shows a little boy swapping out his Batman and Spider-Man toys for a nurse superhero action figure. The Guardian writes:

“Banksy left a note for hospital workers, saying: ‘Thanks for all you’re doing. I hope this brightens the place up a bit, even if it’s only black and white.’

After lockdown measures are lifted, the piece – which is approximately one metre square – will be put on public display. It will then be auctioned to raise money for NHS charities, a spokeswoman for Banksy confirmed.”

Meanwhile here in the U.S., it’s National Nurses Day and people here are doing their part to thank nurses as well.

And a big thank you to all the nurse out there from those of us at News & Guts as well.
