The FBI is on a mission to find some of those behind the violent takeover of Capitol Hill. ABC News says “On Thursday, acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Michael Sherwin said his office had already prepared more than 55 cases connected to the riots, but added, ‘This is just the beginning.'”

The FBI says an Alabama man is among those under arrest, charged with possession of 11 molotov cocktails found near the Capitol. The man seen with his feet on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s desk is also behind bars.

We now know these are just two of the dozens of people under arrest. ABC adds that “An examination of police affidavits and arrest records and depict a diverse cross-section of President Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters — and evidence that conspiratorial rumors about a left-wing false-flag operation are without merit.”

The Washington Post reports:

Many of the initial charges have been for unlawful entry, but authorities also found suspected pipe bombs outside the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee, and they arrested the owner of a truck they said was spotted nearby with 11 molotov cocktails inside. The FBI is still searching for the person who left the suspected pipe bombs.

And now current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is weighing in on those responsible for the death of Capitol Hill police officer Brian Sicknick.

No information has been released on whether investigators have any suspects relating to Sicknick’s death.

CBS News has more on some of those who have been arrested. Watch above.
