Chef Jose Andrés Delivers “Love And Support, One Plate Of Food At A Time”

Four celebrity chefs and 800 volunteers, left their own families on Thanksgiving to warm the hearts and bellies of those who lost their homes in the California fires. The team served 15,000 people in Chico on Thursday.

This isn’t the first time Chef Jose Andrés’ has stepped up to feed those in need. His non-profit World Central Kitchen, a food relief organization, also spent weeks feeding hurricane victims in Puerto Rico last year. He says he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thousands of pounds of turkey was served from three different locations. Chef Guy Fieri making it clear this couldn’t have happened without the help of so many others.

Some people who were victims themselves also lent a helping hand.
