In a hastily planned “news conference” Donald Trump was set to bash China for their recent action in Hong Kong and with coronavirus, but his “speech” quickly turned into what can only be described as a campaign rant. He bashed Joe Biden for several minutes and his son Hunter Biden. It’s safe to say this kind of campaign type rhetoric isn’t supposed to happen on the grounds of the White House.
Campaigning on federal property is against the law. That’s why we’ve never heard a president do this before Trump. https://t.co/lfdL6FxwJ2

At this point in Trump's press conference, I am picturing aides in the White House saying to each other: "I"M not going to go out and take him back inside; YOU go out and take him back inside."

MSNBC only took the question and answer portion of the event and CNN dipped out after the president started slamming his political opponent. Fox News took it in its entirety. Biden’s campaign was clearly watching and quickly released a statement, specifically in regards to accusations Trump made saying Biden’s “entire career has been a gift to Chinese communist party.” Adding that “Biden and President Obama freely allowed China to pillage our factories, plunder our communities, and steal our most precious secrets.”
As @realDonaldTrump focuses his fire on @JoeBiden and relationship with China during his Rose Garden press conference, the Biden campaign is already responding, blasting out a release on Trump's record on China. pic.twitter.com/RKGv5Wan4d

One of the most bizarre moments came as Trump suggested Democrats want to take away windows.
TRUMP: “…mandate net zero carbon emissions for homes, offices and all new buildings by 2030. That basically means no windows, no nothing.”
This is false and misleading: https://t.co/LGeb5LCmbO pic.twitter.com/PSM0tg7b4T

Did he really just say that we won't have windows?

Some analysts suggested since Trump had to cancel recent rallies, he decided this was a way to get his message out.
So because Trump can’t hold rallies anymore he is just going to hold campaign events in the Rose Garden?

Many people also questioned Trump’s state of mind.
Trump just said "The liberals wouldn't mind if people came and blew up our cities."
That just happened.
On television.
The President is fucking gone.
Gone and never coming back.
The system has suffered a permanent crash.

This Trump presser is basically an emotionally disturbed, broken down old man standing on a street corner rambling about the children who keep trying to commit him
