In just two days, Donald Trump managed to disgrace two GOP Senators, who happen to be women. Last night, while campaigning in Arizona, Donald Trump clearly didn’t want to give Sen. Martha McSally the time of day.

The Arizona Republic’s Elvia Diaz wrote:

President Trump’s humiliating spectacle summoning Sen. Martha McSally like a pet took the last ounce of dignity and self-respect from the former fighter pilot.

That’s it. She’s toast.

McSally has been trailing in the polls but Wednesday’s humiliation is the last nail in the coffin of her campaign to keep the Senate seat she lost in the first place.

The video clip of Trump calling her is really something.

This came a day after Trump noticeably cast Iowa Senator Joni Ernst aside. She is running neck and neck against Democrat Theresa Greenfield. When Ernst showed up at Trump’s rally in Nebraska, clearly hoping for some love, Trump barely uttered her name. Little Village magazine out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa writes:

Ernst chose to attend President Trump’s rally in Omaha on Tuesday night as she returned to actively campaigning after taking a break to help her fellow Republicans push through the Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett.

If Ernst expected a display of gratitude from Trump for Barrett vote or a big display of support for her reelection, she must have been disappointed.

Ernst was not a featured speaker at the rally, and Trump only mentioned her during a 36-second-long segment of his 46-minute speech.

The Iowa Starting Line called it a snub;

During some Trump campaign rallies, he’ll bring up a local candidate or elected official to stage to give them a boost. Not so this time on a very cold October evening.

“Joni, thank you very much, and I heard you’re doing very well. I just saw some very nice numbers,” Trump told Ernst from stage, adding that she often calls him about ethanol.

That was it. Trump did seem to suggest at one point that he’d be coming back to Iowa before the election, so perhaps she’ll still get her chance.
