Fox News often spreads misinformation, with many hosts acting as Trump sycophants, but this is being called over-the-top even for Fox. Fox Business host Trish Regan did a segment on what she called the “Coronavirus Impeachment Scam” where she declared “The course of hate being leveled at the president is nearing a crescendo as Democrats blame him and only him for a virus that originated halfway around the world.”
@trish_regan you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself and have zero career as a “ journalist” after this segment. It is a virus. It is apolitical. Trump ignored it for his own selfish perceived benefit. And it is sadly biting us in the ass as a result.

This isn’t something we really need to fact check, but as far as we can tell no one has blamed Trump for coronavirus. What people have criticized Donald Trump for is his bungled reaction to the virus here in the United States.
