Remember when late-night was just a place celebrities came to promote their latest project? In this new era, things have changed. Now it seems these shows have become required stops for presidential contenders. It’s also a time for the public to see a different side of the candidates. This week several Democrats have shown their lighter side on late-night. Tuesday night, Cory Booker talked to Jimmy Kimmel about things like Chance the Rapper and Lionel Richie (watch above). And Senator Elizabeth Warren conversed with Stephen Colbert about her epic selfie line. Things also got serious though as Warren talked about her policies and Donald Trump:

“These really are scary times. It’s scary times because Donald Trump is truly a terrible president. Not just bad, terrible.”

And this week Senator Kamala Harris even joined Jimmy Fallon to slow-jam the news.

Later this week Andrew Yang joins Seth Meyers.
