There are more signs today that Donald Trump is enraged by ads from anti-Trump Republicans such as The Lincoln Project. The group’s latest ad, released Tuesday morning, proclaims “it took almost four years for Trump to get the crowds he wanted. After years of Donald Trump’s divisiveness and discord America is coming together.” The ad goes on to show the large protests over the last two weeks. It ends by declaring “imagine how big the crowds will be when he is gone. A new day begins on November 3rd.”
Another gem from @ProjectLincoln.
Trump finally got the crowd size he’d long claimed—but they weren’t exactly there to cheer him on … https://t.co/jh5xeV5iRu

But today The Daily Beast writes that there is a different ad Trump’s campaign wants him to see:
With their boss growing increasingly agitated with the state of his re-election campaign and with the efforts of Republican critics to undermine it, President Donald Trump’s team hatched a plan. They’d run a series of hard-hitting ads and place them on networks that they knew the president and congressional Republicans would watch.
The Trump campaign has purchased $400k in cable news ads in the DC market. They say they're aiming to rally supporters in Congress. Sources tell @swin24 and me they're making sure Trump himself sees the ads—and trying to counter-program The Lincoln Project https://t.co/kxOdLTT9SM

. @realDonaldTrump, we just heard that your campaign is running ads in between ours in D.C. so your pathetic little feelings aren’t hurt.
I hope they don’t stop, because we’re just getting started. https://t.co/Y2YbU0TMzU
