Saturday Night Live is back after a few weeks off for the Olympics. “Alex” Baldwin, fresh off his twitter feud with Donald Trump, was back with plenty of new material for presidential impersonation.
But the highlight may have been when Cecily Strong joined Weekend Update as Hope Hicks. “Hicks” was there to explain her resignation.
Before she joined them, Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost set it up with the line of the week:
“You know things are bad when a 29-year-old with no experience who works directly for the President of the United States thinks I’ve got to get out of this dead-end job.”
