Jordan Klepper, the Daily Show correspondent known for his gatecrashing interviews at MAGA rallies, confronted Mike Lindell last week at a right-wing event in Wisconsin (watch above).

Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, paid for “free speech Woodstock,” which featured an appearance by Donald Trump via a jumbotron. Like many of the event’s other speakers, Lindell has repeatedly spread conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, insisting that he has evidence of widespread fraud.

Klepper pressed Lindell on the anger of the Stop the Steal movement, connecting it to death threats levied at election officials in Georgia.

“Is this helping, Mike?” Klepper asked. “Ginning all this up?”

“Do you know what this is doing?” Lindell replied.

“It’s perpetuating anger, fear and attacking our democracy,” Klepper responded.

Lindell told Klepper that he had obtained evidence that voting machines were compromised.

“This is the crime of the century you’re describing and they came to the MyPillow guy,” Klepper said incredulously.

Lindell repeated his claim that Trump would be re-instated to The White House in August.

“It’s like watching that Bigfoot show. They don’t find Bigfoot at the end, but if you tune in next week, maybe it’s going to happen,” Klepper said, before Lindell ended the interview.

Klepper spoke with a number of attendees at the event. One said doctors and nurses were getting too much credit during the pandemic and a “true hero” like Lindell deserves more praise.

Another attendee told Klepper that Lindell “speaks the same truth as we believe.”
