Paul Manafort has been found guilty of 8 counts. On 10 other counts, the jury  couldn’t reach a decision and the judge declared a mistrial on those counts. No word on whether prosecutors will seek a retrial on those counts. Manafort reportedly faces decades in prison.

This comes after four days of deliberations in an Alexandria, Virginia courtroom.

Manafort was facing 18 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, and tax evasion.

Manafort worked on Trump’s presidential campaign team starting March 2016 and served as campaign chairman from June to August that year.

He was indicted last October and was sent to jail back in June of this year when he allegedly broke rules of his house arrest. He has been behind bars ever since.

The trial lasted 16 days.

We don’t know much about the jury. What we do know is it was made up of six women and six men. Eight of the jurors were white.
