Bill Maher has a rather odd and controversial take on those battling obesity. His idea doesn’t involve solutions, instead, he decided to take time out of his show Real Time with Bill Maher to advocate for “fat-shaming.” Maher said, “we’ve gone to this weird place where fat is good, it’s pointing out that fat is unhealthy, that’s what’s bad. Fat-shaming doesn’t need to end, it needs to make a comeback.” But The Late Late Show’s James Corden took exception with what Maher said pointing out that, “Fat shaming is just bullying and bullying only makes the problem worse. I don’t think stuff like this is going to solve the obesity epidemic.” Corden’s response is resonating. Take a look at his full statement above.
