An investigation is underway after a series of suspicious packages are found.

One was found at Bill and Hillary Clinton’s Chappaqua home this morning. Packages sent to former Presidents are routinely screened.

The New York Times reports:

An explosive device was found on Wednesday morning by a technician who screens mail for Bill and Hillary Clinton, who live in a suburb of New York City, a law enforcement official said.

NY1 adds: NY1’s investigative team has learned this morning around 1am, @NewYorkFBI, @SecretService, and @NewCastlePD found a suspicious package, described as an IED.

Another was sent to Former President Barack Obama,

Another package was sent to the White House.

And CNN was evacuated after a suspicious package was found there.

Monday a similar device was found at George Soros’ home.

ABC adds:

A pipe bomb loaded with explosive black powder was hand-delivered to the suburban New York City home of billionaire financier George Soros by a would-be attacker, prompting the FBI to launch an investigation into who would want to harm the philanthropist and political activist, a law enforcement source told ABC News on Tuesday.

The FBI photographed the device and then detonated it near Soros’ home in Katonah, New York, and were analyzing fragments to determine why the bomb did not go off, the source said.
