New court documents filed late Friday show that Paul Manafort was in communication with senior White House officials up until May of this year. The new court filing details Robert Mueller’s accusation that Manafort violated his plea deal. The Hill reports:
Manafort said in a heavily redacted report filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., on Friday evening that Manafort repeatedly lied to prosecutors while under investigation, including over his contacts with the White House.
President Trump’s ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort allegedly lied to prosecutors about his communications with officials in the administration, his wire transfers, and “information pertinent to another Department of Justice investigation,” the government said in a court filing.

They said Mr. Manafort hid information from them about his contacts with Trump administration officials, telling “multiple discernible lies — these were not instances of mere memory lapses.”
They also accused Mr. Manafort of lying about a $125,000 transfer of funds.
Mr. Mueller’s team has left open the possibility that it could file new charges for lying against Mr. Manafort.
Another big one:
Mueller has text messages that shows Manafort’s interactions with Trump officials including one who is a “senior administration official,” through February of this year and in May 2018.
