In one day the United States set three new records with COVID-19.

More than 200,000 new coronavirus cases were reported on Wednesday while more than 100,000 Americans were hospitalized with the virus. Both those numbers are records. Also, the U.S. reported the highest number of new daily COVID deaths since the pandemic began with more than 2600 reported today.

And we are still days away from the predicted surge that accompanied the Thanksgiving weekend.

Dr. Robert Redfield, the head of the CDC said today that winter will be “the most difficult time in the public health history of this nation” unless more people follow precautions.
