Donald Trump quickly congratulated the Kansas City Chiefs on winning the Super Bowl Sunday night, but there was one big problem. He didn’t know the team played in Missouri, instead, he thought Kansas City was actually in the state of Kansas. Here’s what he wrote:

“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a great game, and a fantastic comeback, under immense pressure. You represented the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well. Our country is PROUD OF YOU.”

He eventually took the tweet down, changing the state to Missouri, but in the Twittersphere, the damage was already done and captured for all to see.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently asked an NPR reporter to identify Ukraine on a map, perhaps someone should ask Trump to identify the U.S. states on a map.

The Kansas City Police Department even acknowledged the screw-up.
