This is closest Donald Trump has come to conceding. Today the current president acknowledged that “he won.” He was, of course, referring to Joe Biden’s overwhelming electoral (and popular vote) win. But the tweet should have stopped with those two words. Instead, Trump followed it up with a conspiracy theory that Twitter flagged.
The tweet became the talk of Sunday morning political shows.
But Trump’s concession was short-lived. With #TrumpConceded trending on Twitter, the current president tried to clean-up his previous tweet.
