Dem strategist Zac Petkanas: “I read today about a 10-year-old girl with Down Syndrome who was taken from her mother and put in a cage…”
Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski: (Rolls eyes) “Womp womp.” pic.twitter.com/tWxFGTjJEX

Zac Petkanas, who was the other guest in the segment, was shocked by Lewandowski’s comment, but where was the outrage from the anchor (Sandra Smith) who sat silently during the exchange? Where is the apology from Fox? Where have morals gone?
While @Zac_Petkanas had the right and human reaction here, let's not kid ourselves that this is effectively the policy of the Trump administration, expressed out loud. https://t.co/5GXnM0hh3K

The comment is even sparking backlash from some current and former Fox News hosts.
Sob stories? He said it right after hearing about a 10 year old child with Down syndrome who was separated from her mother. Many parents seek asylum to help their sick children. That’s not a sob story it’s just plain sad. https://t.co/i9z0UwTbSf

There is no low to which this coward Corey Lewandowski won’t sink. This man should not be afforded a national platform to spew his hate. https://t.co/M8adu7P2sf

This came just a day after Fox News host Laura Ingraham said the detention centers are like summer camps.
While there have been no apologies and no official statements from Fox News, over the last few days several prominent people have announced they are cutting ties with Fox’s parent company. The New York Times reports:
“For years, the Murdoch family has been able to maintain a separation between its Fox News network and its sprawling entertainment empire.
But that corporate buffer seems to be disintegrating, with several prominent creators of hit TV shows expressing disgust in recent days with the 24-hour news channel’s coverage of the Trump administration’s border security policy.”
I have made two films for 20th Century Fox and love the people in the movie and TV divisions. But I too cannot condone the support their news division promotes toward the immoral and abusive policies and actions taken by this current administration toward immigrant children. https://t.co/6JqIQPjepV

I have no problem with fact-based conservatism (such as WSJ), but @FoxNew’s 23-hour-a-day support of the NRA, conspiracy theories and Trump’s lies gets harder to swallow every day as I drive onto that lot to make a show about inclusion.

You can’t just boycott Fox News. You have to boycott Fox everything. Movies, TV, sports, business, books. Shut it all off. Stop buying. They support the kidnapping of children and babies. #boycottfox https://t.co/4gZWiFI01n

The Wall Street Journal reports:
“Representatives for Fox News and Twentieth Century Fox Television declined to comment. A spokeswoman for 21st Century Fox didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The Fox News commentators have said they’re providing an alternative to biased coverage at other outlets.”
There is also a push to get advertisers to pull their ad dollars from Fox News.
Things we are throwing out and never buying again because these companies support Fox News which has become propagandists demonizing Hispanic children and rationalizing taking them from their parents:@Crest @Orbitz @DawnDish @GoldBondInc

Sponsors bailed on @IngrahamAngle for mocking a Parkland survivor. Now @FoxNews propagandizes the most evil inhumane American policy since slavery: mocks a stolen girl w/Downs Syndrome, calls traumatized children crisis actors in "summer camp." TIME TO BOYCOTT ALL FOX ADVERTISERS
