With just five days remaining until Georgia’s runoff election, Republican Senator David Perdue announced he’s placed himself in quarantine.

According to CDC guidelines, you should “stay home for 14 days after your last contact with a person who has COVID-19.” So if Perdue is following guidelines that would mean he would have to skip a rally in Dalton, Georgia with Donald Trump on Monday. There is no confirmation though that he will miss the event.

CNBC reports “Perdue had been scheduled to appear with Loeffler at a New Year’s Eve campaign rally and concert in Gainesville on Thursday afternoon.” He has appeared at other recent events with Loeffler as well but there is no word on whether she was also exposed.
