3000 immigrant children are still without their parents, but it looks like one lawyer (and a judge!) cares more about a dog she has to watch this weekend. This has to be a new low for the Government.
JUST IN: Federal judge agrees to delay next meeting about extending deadline to reunite 101 children under the age of 5 until Monday because Trump administration lawyer has “dog sitting responsibilities” this weekend.@JuliaEAinsley

Govt lawyer tells judge she has dogsitting responsibilities so will have to leave town and cannot meet tomorrow for status update on 100 children under 5. I love my dog but…but this is a new one!

Children alone in kennels, lawyers sitting dogs.
Our country. https://t.co/e5P8zRnHfM— Quentin Hardy (@qhardy) July 6, 2018
I seriously am not clear if @ACLU lawyers have seen their own children they are working so hard on these cases but dog sitting is going to delay reunification of kids stripped from their parents. But yes, let’s overturn Roe in the name of being pro-life. https://t.co/XObMgLbtTA

1) Trump only has one lawyer in the fed govt?
2) who is this judge? Dog sitting is more important than reuniting families?? https://t.co/7eIbBKW7BV— B. Jay Cooper (@bjaycooper) July 6, 2018
