Senator Kamala Harris is touting the money donated to her presidential campaign since she announced her run in January.

The campaign also reports that 98 percent of the contributions were less than $100. The Daily Beast writes:

Through digital, Harris raised more than $6 million and more than $1.1 million in the last week of March alone. The average online contribution, according to the campaign, was $28. The first quarter ended on Sunday, and the only other candidate to share fundraising totals thus far is South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg. His campaign announced on Monday that it had raised $7 million.

Whether Harris’ numbers are impressive or not depends on who you ask.

The New York Times adds:

On Tuesday, senior advisers to Senator Bernie Sanders, who is widely expected to post the largest fund-raising haul this month, are scheduled to release his fund-raising figures. In emails to supporters, Mr. Sanders’s campaign has said he had nearly 900,000 contributions in the first quarter, writing in one email that donations were “about a $20 average this time.” His average donation was $27 in 2016, suggesting he has raised somewhere between $18 million and $24 million.
