The CEO of “My Pillow,” Mike Lindell, now has found himself in the same place as his friend Donald Trump, banned on Twitter. The New York Times reports:

Lindell’s Twitter account, which had nearly 413,000 followers, was permanently suspended “due to repeated violations of our Civic Integrity Policy,” Lauren Alexander, a Twitter spokeswoman, said in an email.

The AP adds, “It was not immediately clear which posts by Lindell on Twitter triggered the suspension of his account. Lindell, a Trump supporter, has continued to insist that the presidential election was rigged even after U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration has begun.”

This isn’t the first time Lindell has faced consequences for spreading conspiracy theories. Earlier this month, a handful of major retailers that stock MyPillow including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Wayfair and Kohl’s dropped “My Pillow” products.

Lindell has falsely claimed voter fraud led to Trump’s defeat in November. He made an appearance at the White House shortly before the end of Trump’s term, where photographers were able to take pictures of his notes which mentioned the “insurrection act.”

The CEO is also being threatened with a lawsuit from Dominion voting machines, a lawsuit Lindell says he welcomes.
