Almost all polls released over the last week show Joe Biden increasing his lead on Donald Trump, but none bigger than the latest poll from CNN. The poll shows 55% of registered voters support Biden, while 41% support Trump.

The president’s approval rating fares even worse. Only 38% approve of the way Trump is handling his job, while 57% disapprove.

Trump noticed the poll Monday and took to Twitter to complain, calling the CNN polls “Fake.” But take note: The poll was actually conducted by the independent research firm SSRS.

But Trump is wrong, these aren’t the same numbers he was facing in 2016. Real Clear Politics tracked polls in the six months leading up to the election against Hillary Clinton and none had Hillary at 55%.

Despite these poll numbers, Democrats are warning voters not to get too comfortable.
