Pentagon Confirms 34 Soldiers Suffered Traumatic Brain Injury After Iran Missile Attack

Welcome

After the Iranian missile attack, 34 U.S. soldiers are confirmed to have suffered concussions and traumatic brain injury from blasts, according to the Pentagon. The attack occurred earlier this month when missiles launch from Iran struck the Ein al-Asad base in Iraq where U.S. troops were stationed.

Some of the injured were flown to Kuwait and Germany for treatment.

President Trump has downplayed the injuries saying in Switzerland earlier this week “I heard that they had headaches and a couple of other things, but I would say and I can report it is not very serious.”
