Photo Of The Day: First Color Image From Perseverance

NASA released the first image from the rover Perseverance, the craft that landed on Mars yesterday.

The technology, and the picture quality are getting better with each mission to the red planet. The Hill write: ”NASA’s Hallie Gengl described the pictures as “really high resolution” compared to what NASA has seen from rovers on previous missions to Mars.”

It took seven months for the rover to travel from earth to Mars. After a successful landing, Perseverance will spend the next two years gathering data, and hopefully lots more images!
