Donald Trump was at his golf club in New Jersey when a white nationalist walked into a Walmart and murdered twenty people. Shortly after he tweeted:

“Terrible shootings in El Paso, Texas. Reports are very bad, many killed. Working with State and Local authorities, and Law Enforcement. Spoke to Governor to pledge total support of Federal Government. God be with you all!”

But less than 15 minutes later, he was back on Twitter praising UFC Star Colby Covington.

Soon after, he retweeted a Fox Business analyst who was praising African-American employment.

Then it was more praise for himself. Trump retweeted a supporter who praised his efforts to free A$AP Rocky from a Swedish jail.

Then two more retweets from a supporter praising Trump.

Only then did he get back to El Paso, retweeting a USA Today article.

Then after the Dayton, Ohio massacre, Trump tweeted about “very rapid” information:

The FBI, local and state law enforcement are working together in El Paso and in Dayton, Ohio. Information is rapidly being accumulated in Dayton. Much has already be learned in El Paso. Law enforcement was very rapid in both instances. Updates will be given throughout the day!

Quite the contrast from previous POTUS comments:
