With a wave of his hand, Donald Trump said back in February that the coronavirus would one day “magically disappear.” Since then the United States has had more than 2.6 million cases.

Today, he was asked if he still believed that it would just “disappear.”

“I think we’re going to be very good with the coronavirus. I think that, at some point, that’s going to to sort of just disappear, I hope.”

That answer prompted this response from the Speaker of the House.
