At least one Republican senator is defending Dr. Anthony Fauci today, after Donald Trump wrote, “Fauci is a disaster.”

Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN), who is retiring when his term is up in January, wrote this:

If more Senators would outright explicitly condemn Trump for his behavior rather than these namby pamby statements it could possibly make a difference.
