Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi knows Baltimore well, so it’s only appropriate that she weigh in on how Donald Trump trashed the city. The Hill writes:
Pelosi, who was born in Baltimore and whose father and brother were both mayors of the city, accused the president of projecting his own “insecurity” on Cummings. She also hammered Jared Kushner.”
Pelosi had a lot to say on the matter including how Trump’s statements show “his own insecurity, and his own lack of understanding.” But it was this line that stood out:
“The president – this comes as no surprise – really doesn’t know what he’s talking about. But maybe you could ask his son-in-law, who’s a slumlord there, if he wants to talk about rodent infestations.”
