Golf Cart Rally For Joe Biden In Republican Leaning Retirement Community

With Florida seemingly in play for the upcoming presidential election, one key voter bloc is no doubt senior citizens. Today, Joe Biden got a little push from a community known for its Republican residents, The Villages. It’s a retirement community in Central Florida that received attention this summer when tenants holding a golf cart rally for Donald Trump yelled “white power.” The president retweeted a video of the racist rant (that he later deleted) with the caption “Thank you to the great people of the Villages.” Today, we learned there is also a decent amount of Joe Biden supporters in the community. And they held what seemed like a much more peaceful rally.
