Robert Mueller’s statement wasn’t the last we would hear from him after all. He responded to a subpoena from the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, agreeing to testify next month.
Mueller previously said he would not be making further comments on the report after his statement at the Justice Department on May 29th saying:
“I’ll make a few remarks about the results of our work. But beyond these few remarks, it is important that the office’s written work speak for itself.“
