You may have expected Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to deliver the Democratic response the Donald Trump’s State of the Union next Tuesday. Instead, former Georgia Gubernatorial Candidate Stacey Abrams will address the nation. In confirming the news Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said, “She is just a great spokesperson. She’s an incredible leader.“

Abrams ran for governor of Georgia but was defeated. But she claims she lost because “It Was Not A Free And Fair Election.”   Abrams is a rising star in the Democratic party and may run for Senate in 2020.
