Donald Trump wasted no time this morning bashing the top tier of the FBI. Remember these are people, for the most part, he had a hand in appointing.

The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!

The President clearly hopes tweets like this and the pending release of the Nunes memo undermine and demoralize the FBI and therefore casts a shadow over the work of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump’s alleged ties to Russia. Problem is, the FBI keeps America safe, so discrediting them means our national security could be made weaker.
