Trump Honors Rush Limbaugh With Presidential Medal Of Freedom

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, suffering from stage 4 lung cancer, was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Donald Trump during the State of the Union address Tuesday night. While we wish Limbaugh a full recovery from the horrible disease, but there could be no worse person on the planet to give such an honor. The award has been forever cheapened to those who’ve contribute so much to this country.

Limbaugh has for years preached hate on radio and done more to divide this country than any other American.

If someone who spews racist nonsense on the radio gets a medal of freedom, what door prizes do we have for the Neo-nazis, the homophones, the xenophobes. Let's be fair to all the deplorable.

During his #SOTU address, President Trump asked First Lady Melania to place the Presidential Medal of Freedom on conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh, who announced previously that he had been diagnosed with advanced cancer.

The award recognizes those individuals who have made “an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”
