Fox News hosts often cross the line, but two new clips are particularly concerning. The words of two of Fox’s most well-known personalities are being called racist and misogynistic.

Host Jeanine Pirro took aim at Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) criticizing her not just for her recent remarks about Israel, but also for the hijab she wears.

Fox News issued a statement saying:

“We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar. They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”

She was also condemned by a colleague.

Pirro didn’t apologize, but she did offer an explanation that is falling flat.

Tucker Carlson is also dealing with his own controversy today. Media Matters obtained old radio clips of the Fox News host making crude remarks about women.

Even though he calls women the c word and makes excuses for child rape, Carlson apparently doesn’t see an issue with it. He calls it being caught “saying something naughty.”

So far no reaction from Fox News executives to Carlson’s “naughty” words.
