We are getting some insight into what it was like to sit on the Paul Manafort jury. Paula Duncan told Fox News’ Shannon Bream that 11 out of the 12 jurors thought Manafort was guilty on all 18 counts. She said it wasn’t the testimony or the work of prosecutors, but the paper trail that clearly showed the crimes Manafort committed. In the end, one juror held out on 10 counts, hence why Manafort was only convicted on 8 charges.

While Duncan describes herself as a big Trump supporter with a MAGA hat in her car, she says she it was her civic duty to serve and that she doesn’t believe anyone brought political leanings into their decisions in the jury room:

“Finding Mr. Manafort guilty was hard for me. I wanted him to be innocent, I really wanted him to be innocent, but he wasn’t,” “That’s the part of a juror, you have to have due diligence and deliberate and look at the evidence and come up with an informed and intelligent decision, which I did.”
