Senator Bob Corker has criticized Donald Trump before, but now he is taking it a step further criticizing the Republican party. Corker, a member of the GOP himself said:
“It’s becoming a cultish thing, isn’t it? It’s not a good place for any party to end up with a cult-like situation, as it relates to a president, that happens to be of, purportedly, of the same party.”
He goes on to say:
“We have a lot of people who are willing to do the things that they feel are right for our country. We have some who are fearful of upsetting the president and it would mostly be around the leadership, but it’s not a good place for us to be.”
Now many are questioning whether Corker or other Republicans will do what is “right for our country.”
