Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) released a video early Friday (watch above) saying “I will not be seeking re-election to Congress in 2020, and humbly ask you for your support for my candidacy for President of the United States.”
Gabbard’s seat was already in jeopardy, as the Washington Post points out, “Gabbard faced a Democratic primary challenge from Hawaii state Sen. Kai Kahele, who has lashed out at her for missing votes while on the presidential campaign trail.” And Gabbard is facing a lot of criticism for her recent appearances on Fox News, including on Thursday night where she criticized the impeachment inquiry.
You can stop wondering why people say Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset and isn't really a DEM.
She goes on HANNITY (?!?) to slam the impeachment inquiry and parrots Republican talking points.
If you're not with us, you're with them. She is HORRIBLE. https://t.co/PHhxcoyIy9

Gabbard has not yet qualified for the November debate.
I'm not worried Tulsi Gabbard will run 3rd party — she's polling at 1%, at least some of her base is Trump supporters, and it's unclear she could even get on the ballot everywhere.
I'm more worried she'll take a gig at Fox News and we'll have to listen to her nonsense forever.
