As Donald Trump urges states to reopen and loosen restrictions, the situation at home is not so good. Multiple outlets are reporting this afternoon that West Wing staff in the White House will be required to wear masks unless at their desks.

The Washington Post writes that while most White House staff will be required to wear masks, the directive does not apply to President Trump.

Previously, most senior officials had not worn masks or face coverings in the West Wing, according to administration officials and visitors to the complex, even as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended mask usage for others in public spaces.

Two employees have tested positive in the last week, including the Vice President’s press secretary.
